1. Purpose
AirVoice Telecom is committed to conducting telecom business responsibly and to taking reasonable measures to prevent its services, infrastructure and commercial relationships from being used for unlawful financial activity.
This policy covers the principles used by AirVoice in customer and partner onboarding, account management, transaction review and escalation. Specific obligations may vary by legal entity, service, country, regulator and contractual arrangement.
This public policy describes our framework. It is not a statement that AirVoice is a financial institution or that every AML obligation applies identically to every AirVoice service or entity.
2. Risk-based approach
AirVoice may assess relationships according to factors such as customer type, ownership, geography, services requested, transaction patterns, traffic characteristics, payment behaviour and other relevant risk indicators.
Higher-risk relationships may require enhanced verification, additional documentation, management approval, transaction controls or other measures appropriate to the circumstances.
3. Customer and partner due diligence
Depending on the service and risk profile, AirVoice may request information such as:
- legal name, registered address and incorporation details;
- business activity and intended use of telecom services;
- authorised representatives and beneficial ownership information;
- identity or corporate documents;
- licences, registrations or regulatory information where relevant; and
- payment and source-of-funds information where reasonably required.
AirVoice may refuse, suspend or review an application where required information is incomplete, inconsistent or raises unresolved compliance concerns.
4. Monitoring and controls
Where appropriate to the service, AirVoice may use operational and compliance controls to identify unusual activity, suspicious traffic, account anomalies, fraud indicators, sanctions concerns, payment irregularities or other behaviour inconsistent with the stated business purpose.
Controls may include transaction review, traffic analysis, account restrictions, destination controls, payment review and escalation to designated personnel.
5. Prohibited and restricted activity
AirVoice does not knowingly support activity that is unlawful or intended to facilitate financial crime, sanctions evasion, fraud, identity abuse, terrorist financing, money laundering or other prohibited conduct.
Customers and partners must not use AirVoice services to carry traffic, messages, payments or communications that violate applicable law, regulatory requirements, contractual restrictions or AirVoice's acceptable-use requirements.
6. Escalation and reporting
Where activity raises material compliance concerns, AirVoice may investigate, request additional information, restrict or suspend services, terminate a relationship where contractually permitted, and make disclosures to competent authorities where required or permitted by applicable law.
AirVoice does not promise to disclose investigative steps or the existence of any report where doing so would be unlawful or could compromise a legitimate investigation.
7. Records and confidentiality
Relevant onboarding, verification, transaction and compliance records may be retained for the period required by applicable law, contractual obligations, security needs or legitimate business purposes.
Access to compliance information is restricted according to business need and applicable privacy and security requirements.
8. Governance and review
AirVoice may review this framework periodically and update controls as its services, markets, partners, technology and regulatory obligations change.
Employees and relevant business teams may receive guidance appropriate to their responsibilities, including escalation procedures and responsible use of telecom services.
Our approach is intended to operate alongside applicable anti-money-laundering, counter-terrorist-financing, sanctions, fraud-prevention, telecom and data-protection requirements rather than replacing them.
